Our AML Program prevents the use of our services in relation to money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud and financial crimes. Includes: designated AML Compliance Officer; Customer Due Diligence incorporating KYB/KYC; Enhanced Due Diligence for higher-risk merchants and PEPs; ongoing transaction monitoring; reporting of suspicious activity to appropriate authorities; and regular AML training.
All merchants undergo structured Know Your Business and Know Your Customer verification prior to onboarding. Includes: verified corporate documentation; UBO disclosure; identity verification of all directors; business activity and source of funds assessment; ongoing monitoring and periodic re-verification. Risk-based Enhanced Due Diligence applies to higher-risk profiles.
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and used solely for service provision and merchant onboarding. Data may be shared with banking partners and regulatory authorities where required by law. Merchants have the right to access, correct and request deletion of their personal data subject to legal retention requirements.
Platform access is restricted to lawful business activities. Strictly prohibited: unlicensed financial services; adult content; unregulated gambling; businesses on international sanctions lists; activities unlawful in Lao PDR or conflicting with acquiring bank requirements. Alpha Oracle may terminate access with immediate effect for violations.
Structured risk framework covering: merchant risk classification at onboarding; ongoing transaction monitoring for chargeback ratio and fraud indicators; automated alerts; chargeback dispute management; periodic merchant review cycles. Merchants exceeding thresholds may face additional review, increased rolling reserves, or service suspension.
Key provisions: Alpha Oracle operates as a technical facilitator — not a Merchant of Record or direct payment processor; merchants are solely responsible for the lawfulness of their business activities; merchants must provide accurate information during onboarding and notify Alpha Oracle of material changes; Alpha Oracle may suspend access in cases of compliance breach or regulatory necessity.
